Meet its creators, guardians of a place where respect, consent, and sophistication come first.
Can you introduce your club? What is its history and concept?
“It is a BDSM and kinky dungeon, a private rental space of 120 m²; air-conditioned, with secluded outdoor areas, a covered terrace, and a jacuzzi.
It can accommodate up to 9 people:
- 1 room for 3 people with a double bed + a medical bed,
- 1 room for 2 people,
- plus 2 convertible sofas for 2 people each.
It is equipped with two pillories, one St. Andrew’s cross, one spanking bench, a 4-point suspension pole (sling, cage, handcuffs...), one large cage, and a multifunctional table. The concept is based on offering meal and breakfast services according to our guests’ preferences, as well as providing a safety aspect since we are present in case of need or any potential issue. We also offer initiation sessions (whip, shibari) conducted by a trusted instructor.”
What is the typical profile of people who visit your club? (Age, experience level, expectations...)
“Visitors must be adults. There is no minimum experience level required, although it is preferable to know the basics.”
What are the essential rules to follow in your club?
“Respect for people and the premises; formal address (‘vous’ form) is required when speaking to the host.”
How do you guarantee consent and safety for participants?
“Consent is ensured by signing a contract, except during organized events, and safety is overseen by the host. The play rooms are under video surveillance.”
Is prior initiation or a certain level of experience required to come?
“No.”
What are the most common practices in your club?
“Impact play, sexual games, waxing, humiliation.”
Do you offer themed nights or special events?
“Yes, in fact, Mr. Arkhè’s (the host’s) birthday is coming up soon.”
What equipment and facilities do you provide?
St. Andrew’s cross, pillory, spanking bench, detachable bed restraints rated for 30 kg. We have a soft corner with water, microwave, USB outlets, sound system, bed linens, vinyl pads, and towels available.
How do you select your members? Are there strict criteria?
“Selection happens naturally. People who know their behavior isn’t safe don’t rent the Donjon, since my presence is mandatory during their stay.”
Have you noticed any evolution in BDSM trends in recent years?
“Yes, quite a lot: budgets, excesses, and the lure of profit through lawsuits...”
What advice would you give to someone wanting to discover the BDSM world?
“Learn to say NO.”
What are the most common prejudices about BDSM, and how do you respond to them?
“There are so many! The world of BDSM is as vast as the number of countries on earth… I respond in the simplest way: to closed-minded people, I say that’s their point of view and I can’t argue against it; for those open-minded, I offer a very, very soft initiation session.”
Do you have an anecdote or memorable moment from your club to share?
“The respect for our clientele lies in anonymity. It’s like Fight Club: what happens at the Donjon Takeya stays at the Donjon Takeya.”
