Since May 2024, the Metamorphose boutique in Paris has changed management!

Martine and JP have given up their sales space to Julia, a person already known to the boutique's customers since she was the saleswoman there.

Maison Catanzaro wanted to focus on its new adventure!

Can you introduce yourself to our readers?
I took over the iconic boutique *Métamorph'Ose* this past spring. I'm very grateful and proud to represent it today. Having worked with JP and Martine, the former owners, for more than a year and a half as a sales associate, the institution is no stranger to me. Now, I'm thrilled to bring fresh energy and a creative vision to this cornerstone of alternative fashion.

Who is Julia in her personal and professional life?
First and foremost, I'm deeply passionate about fashion. I love how it allows people to express their personalities through their style. I appreciate the power of clothing, which can highlight the beauty of any body. I’m also part of the fetish scene, a world that fascinates me, as it provides an incredible outlet for expression and creativity beyond conventional boundaries. I'm one of the lucky few who can live their passion every day. At the boutique, I welcome you and aim to make your shopping experience a truly special moment.

How long have you been in the scene?
I’ve always been drawn to the fetish world. Since childhood, I had a strong passion for gothic and rock styles. It wasn’t until much later that I realized BDSM was also a culture that resonated with me. I love its subtleties and aesthetics. I've been involved in the scene for several years now, and the meaningful connections I’ve made there have been so inspiring that I decided to make it a central part of my life.

Where did this passion come from?
From a very young age, I enjoyed designing and sewing my own clothes—first for my dolls, then for myself. Style and beautiful clothing have always been my guilty pleasure. My discovery of the world of eroticism then gave me a very unique style. My goal is to promote unique styles and support designers and brands that share this alternative vision.

Any new additions to the boutique?Yes! First, we revamped the ground floor. I wanted to create a more intimate, boudoir-like atmosphere to offer our clients a memorable first impression. We also updated the collections while keeping *Métamorph’Ose*’s signature elegance. Finally, our social media presence has been modernized significantly. We love being able to maintain an even stronger connection with our community this way.

What are your future plans?
I want this boutique to become a true gathering place. I’d love to host workshops and various events in our beautiful basement. And who knows—maybe even future soirées…
